Ideal Venues was established in 2001 and is owned and managed by Katja and
Andy Hammond. We pride ourselves in offering impeccable service with a
personal twist - on time, to specification and to budget.

Our personable approach, as well as our professional
excellence, is very much the reason why large
corporations as well as smaller businesses and busy
individuals come to us again and again for their events.

We really enjoy getting to know the companies and
people we work with and build long lasting, honest and
loyal relationships with our portfolio of clients.

Our services can be as regimented or as flexible as you
wish, from simply finding you a venue and letting you
get on with it, to fully managing your event from initial
enquiry to being there on the day to make sure it runs
smoothly.

Katja Hammond

Director

Katja has over 15 year’s events experience behind her and founded Ideal Venues in 2001. She has expert knowledge of local, national and international hotels, venues, restaurants, bars, clubs and suppliers and has worked extensively on events for both small and multi-national companies.

Katja is a meticulous organiser, loves a challenge and is a problem solver by nature. Originally from Finland, Katja also speaks fluent Swedish and Finnish.

Andy Hammond

Director

Andy manages venue finding for corporate clients and has invaluable contacts throughout the industry. Whether you are looking to find a venue for a conference, dinner, launch or the annual Christmas party then look no further than Andy. Whether you want to be local, national or international send Andy a brief and he can guarantee to reply with the best package for your specification and budget.

Andy is a keen sportsman and plays football, golf and tennis. He is also a passionate supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion where he is a 1901 season ticket holder.

Josie Bradley

Account Executive

Josie joined the company in January 2016 following a new client win and to assist with our growing business. She looks after UK and International venue finding for our new exciting client and has very quickly proved herself to be an invaluable asset to the company. A Brighton resident, Josie enjoys keeping fit and socialising with her friends, travel and new experiences.

companies, we are not tied to one supplier, so we can
genuinely find you the perfect venue for your needs.

We work closely with private air charters, flight booking
agents, transfer companies, private yachts and
overseas destination management companies, and
alongside these suppliers we can also help with any

additional services such as musicians, photographers,
florists, entertainment, speakers, AV equipment,
corporate gifts, activities and transportation.... we have
your events need covered – whatever the occasion!

We work very closely with most of the big hotel brands, as well as many
individual boutique hotels. We can help you with a request for anything from one room for one
night to one hundred rooms for a week.

We will always get you the very best rate possible and as we book accommodation on a daily
basis, we can often get you additional privileges such as complimentary upgrades and amenities.
