Ideal Venues was established in 2001 and is owned and managed by Katja and Andrew Hammond. We pride ourselves in offering impeccable service with a personal twist - on time, to specification and to budget. Our personal approach, as much as our professional excellence, is very much the reason why large corporations as well as smaller businesses and busy individuals come to us again and again for their events. We really like to get to know the companies and people we work with and thus build long lasting, honest and loyal relationships with our clients.

Ideal Venues event service is truly global and can be as flexible as you wish, from just finding you a venue and letting you get on with it, to fully manage your event from initial enquiry to being there on the day to make sure it runs flawlessly.

Who we are:

Katja Hammond - Director

Katja has over 10 years events experience behind her and set up Ideal Venues

in May 2001. She has expert knowledge of local, national and international hotels, venues, restaurants, bars, clubs and suppliers and has worked extensively on events for both small and multi-national companies. Katja is a meticulous organiser, loves a challenge and is a problem solver by nature. Originally from Finland, Katja also speaks fluent Swedish and Finnish.

Andrew Hammond - Director

Andrew looks after venue finding for fellow agencies and corporate clients. Whether you need to find a venue for a conference, dinner, launch or Christmas party, locally, nationally or internationally, Andrew is the man who can. Using his invaluable contacts in the industry, Andrew will negotiate rates to match your budgets and meet your requirements. Andrew is be a born and bred Brightonian and keen Brighton and Arsenal supporter.
